Boiler Systems
At Thornton & Grooms, we’re proud to offer a variety of Boiler Systems to our customers, including...
Gas-fired Hot Water and Steam Boilers
Boilers are part of a home heating system that utilizes either steam or water to carry heat throughout your home. A gas boiler will heat the water, which is then circulated through a closed system of pipes and radiators or baseboards spread throughout your home. The heat from the water or steam is passed to the radiators, which then transfer it to the air in the room. This type of heating can be extremely effective and energy efficient, so even if you are selecting a heating system for a new home, gas boilers are worth considering.
Low Mass (Copper Fin) Boilers
Low Mass, Copper-Fin gas-fired boilers are high-efficiency boilers that save space, save money, are lightweight, and are simple to service and install. The heart of the Copper-Fin boiler is its copper finned tube heat exchanger. The best of both worlds are combined: cast iron headers for long-lasting durability, and a copper finned-tube heat exchanger for high efficiencies and fast heat transfer. Not only is heat up time nearly instantaneous with these boilers, the energy consumption and operating costs are lower too.
Baseboards & Radiators
Baseboards & Radiators give you a visually appealing way to heat your home quietly and efficiently. With a range of styles and sizes, you can pick the one that matches the look of your home and still get high-quality heat from your boiler system.
Infloor Radiant Systems
If you're the type who gets cold feet, an Infloor Radiant System may be just right for you. It's a network of pipes beneath the flooring that circulate warm water, providing heat to the whole room. The most popular and cost-effective type of radiant floor heating, it is also more energy efficient than forced air or baseboard heating systems. Brands and Manufacturers We Carry:
