Thornton & Grooms Wants Homeowners to Receive Energy-Efficiency Rebates

Thornton & Grooms, a local heating and cooling company,wants homeowners to take advantage of up to $450 in rebates that Consumers Energy is offering for customers who make energy-efficient home improvements. When combined with incentives that Thornton & Grooms is offering, consumers can save more than $1,600 on a new high-efficiency heating and cooling system.

“This is a great opportunity for every homeowner in the metro Detroit area,” says Dave Knight, Owner of Thornton & Grooms. “Many of us have furnaces and air conditioners that are no longer operating to their intended efficiencies.  As a result, we’re using too much energy, paying too much for utility bills, and harming our environment. Installing a new high-efficiency unit doesn’t just save money; it saves the environment as well.”

Knight wants homeowners to get the most savings out of the rebates, so Thornton & Grooms is offering additional incentives for qualified purchases as well.  They are offering up to $1,150 in instant consumer rebates.  “When you add that to the $450 from Consumers Energy’s rebate, the savings are substantial.  And that’s before you tally in how much money is saved by using less energy with a high-efficiency system.” Thornton & Grooms also offers financing of the units they install, with different financing options available to accommodate all budgets. “These systems have never been more affordable,” says Knight.
